Media Mark Coleman at rehab center to give speech; 2 years sober; and also doing some hardcore lawn work

Honestly I was kind of hoping he would somehow forget about fighting all together. Mark going back on the bike and trying to fight is a terrible idea

Probably got inspired by Tyson coming out of retirement to fight Roy Jones. I just hope both Mark and Montell both gas themselves out in 2 minutes so neither have any power to hurt each other.

I followed him some time over social media because I like that he got sober and returned to training (although to be blunt open, I cannot respect anyone who goes 100% sober as it shows that your mind is weak because you must abstain from alcohol (or whatever) 100% as otherwise you cannot control yourself).

However, I stopped following him because it was basically only him talking the same stuff over and over again and always ending the posts by "sober is so cool - HammerHouse 4 life".... like ok, got you the first 200x already....

He looks to be in a good spot now. I'm happy for him. And that last video of him cutting the lawn shouting carnivore diet <45>

Who cares? Why can you not respect that?

Why does someone need to drink to have your respect? Some people have to be completely sober and if that's keeping them on the straight and narrow, good for them.

And yeah, I mean he spent decades taking brain damage and probably has hepatic encephalopathy. Many low-intelligence people run on mantras and regimens. If you expected him to be a budding polymath then you're stupid too. But he's doing the crucial things. He's not out there picking up DUIs, he's not homeless on the street causing a scene, he's not engaging in open air drug use, lashing out with fits of drunken violence, or stealing to fund a habit. He's not harming anyone, which for someone with his level of intellectual impairment, is awesome.

What a weird sentiment to have. [<diva2]

The fact that his announcement video he was shuffling and crossed his feet, almost falling over, tells me this won't go well. Imagine the other takes they did if they decided that one was okay to post.

Dafuq?

What kind of dumb ass shit are you talking about? I haven't posted on sherdog in at least a year, but I'm breaking my lurker streak to say that's some dumb ass shit. Ya dummy.

Glad he's trying to do better for himself & he seems happy.

Still grounding & pounding, but on lawns nowadays.

He's a legend & wish him the best. Gave us some greats fight memories.
