Pretty much everyone in this country hates her as she was disliked by the unions and establishment alike who were the loudest voices of political life in the post war era.

But in reality she changed British society so it became much more meritocratic and took a lot of power away from the traditional ruling classes. She broke a few eggs to make dem omelettes by dismantling a lot of the manufacturing base and by privatising a lot of nationalised industries which were incredibly inefficient and hemorrhaged money - but I'm sure that in the long run history will look back on her much more favourably than media-led public opinion does today.

pretty much, she took out the unions and deindustrialised Britain which was needed to raise productivity an reduce inflation... gotta admit moneterism was the medicine the economy needed...but financial deregulation bit us in the ass lol

as for community she pretty much destroyed it, worsened north south divide etc and she win Falklands but her bombing of that ship was out of line

Sorry, I'm a bit dense, should be sleeping. I love that routine.

Yeah it is good. Have you had series 3 of Comedy Vehicle in Aus yet? If not I expect they've been uploaded to the internet's somewhere no doubt

A strong woman but a callous one.
