I love New Orleans (I wasn't there during Mardi Gras though) and there are gorgeous girls who are extremely easy to talk to and take home. If you're into that, Mardi Gras will probably be even more ridiculous and awesome. Throw in a touch of some really good live music, really great food...there's nothing not to like.
Just don't piss on the street, which is pretty easy to do cause you can walk into any bar whether you have a drink or not.
