Well i had ordered the saulo instructionals but i ordered them off sherdog and have been waiting 3 weeks. Im cancelling my order and was going to order a different set. I was looking at the Feitosa ones from gracie barra because i found them cheaper. Anyone have experience with both? Which is better?
i think they both are great, Feitosa has both gi and no gi in one instructional. For Saulo you have choose for gi or no gi.
yeah i noticed that.. The feitosa ones are 100$ while the Riberio ones are 150$. Saulo would cover more of the gi game and that is what im interested in.. I was just wondering if anyone had seen both. if one spoke more clear english or explained things better.
Feitosa are a good collection of semi-related techniques, and it covers gi and no-gi. I haven't seen them all, but what I did see was pretty good. Saulo's tapes come in either gi or no-gi (different sets for each) and they cover Saulo's personal game, with more attention depth to each move and showing how they work together. Both have fine English, if I remember correctly. So just flip a coin.
Which Saulo dvds did you try to order, gi or no-gi? I was thinking of getting the freestyle dvd set, hopefully that ones not back ordered.
I have seen the Saulo DVDs and he is very clear in his english and explanation of the technique. He shows it to you from different variations. He explains the wrong way others do it (and why it is wrong) and shows the right way (and explains the advantage to doing it the right way). Of course this has nothing to do with the fact that Saulo is my instructor. LOL! Wolverine ///
you're a lucky guy... I was at his seminar this WE in Paris and this the best I've ever done.... he is an incredible teatcher and a great guy.... I wish so bad I could go to his lesson all year long...
