I was just watching TUF season 4, and it's pretty well known that Laimon hates the Gracies. After Royce loses to Hughes though they show Laimon talking about the Gracies again. This guy is brutal. He dismisses almost everything they've done, and puts down everything about them. What's this guy's deal? He acts like one of the Gracies had personally wronged him or something.

i think hes an idiot, i have no respect for him whatsoever. What made me think hes a complete douche was that he was talking shit about royce, and how he was so happy royce got his ass beat that he almost got into a fight himself over it, and then on his homepage he has a picture of him and royce standing and smiling/hugging.....i dont think its there anymore.. The only shit i respect about laimon is i read an interview with him, and he likes this pornstar that i like as well...so yea thats pretty cool

he talks so bad about the gracies but he started training under the gracies when he first started out. besides id bet roger gracie would tap him with ease.
There's nothing bad with Eddie. I could careless about his marijuana situation. I just don't like his views towards the Gi to be honest. Laimon said guard players are inferior grapplers, which I completey disagree

cheers for that! I was enlightened I don't see why he would bad mouth the person that introduced him to BJJ, I think that is uncalled for, and shows no class. I can however understand why he left the gracies academy (as explained on the interview). They lied to him saying that he wasn't advanced enough to learn techniques he saw at the pan ams, when in fact the gracies game was out of date, and they had no idea what the new guys from Brazil were doing. Nova Uniao in the late 90's was probably the most technical academy out there and he went for them.. good for him (and should of stopped there with the gracie remarks)
