Marc Goddard offers Rose words of encouragement

Both got tko'd by Conor so they share a special bond

Come on the reds today fella...

Pep Baldiola has claimed City are the underdogs in this years title race despite them having an unlimited transfer fund and literally zero risk attached to any transfers they make. Hopefully we can do a lovely double broski

No active ref is better than Goddard in my view. He is consistently good and fair. If he screws something up (rarely) then he is big enough to admit he didn't quite get something right.
That's a good quality to have.

Yea because pool haven't spent a fuck load in the past few years.

We've sold players to buy. We bought Coutinho for 12 mil and sold him for 132, bought suarez for 22 mil and sold him for 70. With that money we spent 75 mil on player of the year Van Dijk and probably the best keeper in the league for 58 mil. Meanwhile city bought benchwarmer Mendy for 50 mil without making any sales. So much for financial fair play.

Financial fair play always been bullshit though.

It sucks that football is practically who spends the most these days.

It's crazy the CL final is between a team who didn't buy anyone vs a team who strengthen their squad very well.

Would be shocked if pool don't take the CL final.

I don't see city dropping the points TBH. Brighton have been OK at home but Liverpool have the harder match today with wolves.

Will be fun doe!!

Overall we are stronger, but we did lose our jewel in the crown which was Coutinho. He got his head turned and if he hadn't the league would have been ours weeks ago. When City gifted us that 7 point lead a few months back it should have been it. Soon as they recouped those points it felt like it was theirs

You rate Coutinho?

My opinion is the best thing to happen to pool is him leaving.

Great one game Meh for the next 5 IMO.

"also a huge congratulations to @JessicaMMApro"? Shouldnt it be congratulation? I am pretty sure it does. Or is it a brit thing?

If you wanna split hairs there should probably be a comma or full stop after “RoseNamajunas” but yeah the bit you mentioned looks fine as it is. I’m not a scholar by any means

He was really good for us near enough every game I watched. He didn’t always score but he was always hugely influential. They paid that fee for good reason but he hasn’t been the same player since he left, and I think you’re right bud about us being stronger. The hole Van Dijk filled was greater than the one left by Coutinho

As good as Liverpool offence is, defence wins trophies.

Can't lose if the other team doesn't score
