I've been following the Marble Hornets series on YouTube for about a year now. It's been around for a few years now and i love it so far. It's based on the made up legend of Slenderman from Creepy Pasta's forums.

Anyone else follow it?

The best resource to follow it is here:

I am a big follower of Slendy. Love MH. I also watch the other YT series Everymanhybrid, tribetwelve, darkharvest, and sometimes the tulpaeffect.

Did you know a MH film is being made?

I saw that on Troy's blog, I'm stoked, it's well deserved.

The mh guys are also doing the video game Slender: The Arrival.

I haven't watched any other Slenderman based stuff, i started watching one but they seem to be doing the same shit that mh was already doing as far as the camera going screwy when he's around.

Have you seen the latest entry?

The video game will be unrelated to the Marble Hornets story arc, it seems

I'm very hesitant about it. Troy is just letting them use the title. He's not writing and has little input on the story. The writers have only written comedy films.

I've watched the first two chapters. Scary stuff maybe scarier then the first.

Everymanhybrid starts off as a parody of MH and amateur fitness videos until Slendy really shows up. The Rake begins to attack them after.

Tribetwelve and Darkharvest, I believe are set in the same universe.
I think I watched a crossover video with them. Their special effects are better then MH and EMH.

Thetulpaeffect is a bit different. It deals more with the real life effects of stalking and paranoia. It goes into the psychological effects more then any series. Slendy very rarely pops up.

I'm very behind. I need to catch up.

I fell behind around 30 something. Managed to get two friends really into it for a while.

The first few episodes were cool, but after awhile they tried to do way too much with their ultra amateur resources.

I've tried a few times to get into it but just can't.

What is it about exactly?

It's a Blair witch type documentary, i don't watch movies really so i find it pretty suspenseful and fun to watch.
