Whilst your logic is clearly flawed i get the sentiment. For anyone that didn't beleive already jimis striking is very good in terms of mma .

Jones doesn't have that kind of brutal power and never will. It's not in his DNA.

If jimi could stay standing he'd seriously hurt Jon. It wouldn't even be close. The problem is if and most likely when Jon got it down. He'd fucking pulverise him.
It would be a great fight though, anything could happen.
I'd defiantly watch. Maybe this could be he fight to make for jons return.

but really nice showing. he's a nice striker, it's just that up there there is gus, rumble, jon jones and dc. he can't hang with that

but, I think he can be a good gatekeeper
 
i wanna assume you're joking, but you've always seemed pretty slow tbh.
 
agreed.

Manuwa only has 2 losses: Gustafsson and Rumble.

Jones lost to the former and would lose to the latter.

Manuwa is really getting his ground def on point, if his age doesn't catch up to him he could be a threat with his striking.

+ some basic grappling to null Rumble..
