I usually choose to avoid these kinds of threads/discussions because I find it pointless to argue on the internet about something that I, myself have done (3x), and will do again if I ever feel that I have to.

The typical male advantage of size, and strength is dramatically decreased in the face of someone with greater skill, speed, and overall better conditioning, and coordination.

Is it true that typically the average guy will beat the average girl in a fight? Yes ... but the thing is, we are not all average.

i don't even know why the ronda/floyd crap is so popular.

that's like debating if federer can beat the top female racquetball player.

Yeah, it's clearly obvious that a woman has a chance to beat a guy in a fight, but it's slim. Men are biologically speaking physically superior to women so when you put a guy and a woman in a cage, every logical person would favor the dude to win since he holds the advantage.

One video of a training session in a military setting.

One video of a midget with downs in a wife beater fighting a woman at a local mma show.

And the last one is a decent showing of skills by the woman beating a amateur man.

Anyone who trains knows women CAN beat men. Anyone who trained also knows an athletic 16 year old male can completely dominate a professional female MMA fighter. Also 16 year olds CAN beat men, and paraplegics CAN beat able bodied men, and 135 lbers CAN beat HW's, etc.

Statistical outliers aside men almost always run over any woman in a gym, even out of shape couch potato types, even teenage boys. Men are actually reprimanded for going too hard on women because the physical disparity is too great. So yes, it is entertaining to see women able to overcome this disadvantage, but someone like Ronda would get seriously hurt by someone like Dillashaw, and nobody wants to see that happen sans a few woman beater types.
 
In the 3rd video, that guy is either not trying to hurt the girl at all or the biggest pussy in the world.

looks like he completely avoids punches to the face, while the girl is going all out trying to KO him.

I don't disagree with you. Ronda would lose not only to Dillashaw but probably to the top 20-50 I'd say. Hard to really quantify these things.

That being said, it's not exactly a fair comparision to say that a 135lbers beating a heavyweight is on the same scale as a trained female beating an untrained male, at the same weight. There are plenty of unathletic guys, just go to the nearest public gym. I'd say that the biggest difference is in upper body strenght. There are a good amount of strong woman pulling some solid DL numbers.

Again, not saying that men are not generally biologically superior, because they are, however this thread is simply a counter to the argument that that is always the case. And that you can't work on both strenght and technique. Especially if we are talking about a trained figher, in this case female, against an untrained male, athletic or not.

Look at the first video. That guy is what you would consider reasonable athletic, right? I know it's grappling, but that pertains to the discussion as competition is also a part of it.
 
If the skill disparity is greater than the disparity in size, bone structure, muscle density, then the woman will win. If not, she'll lose.

There are highly skilled women that can defeat low-skilled men. But can Ronda defeat the top male MMA fighters? Absolutely not. She looks like she's punching underwater compared to how fast guys like Mighty Mouse are.
 
This is stupid.

No man who's not a complete lunatic would take a legit fight with a woman.

He'll never win.

If he loses, he lost to a woman, he loses.
If he wins, he beat a woman up, he's a monster. He loses.

Stick Ronda in the ring with TJ Dillashaw and see what happens.

Give Dillashaw a $2,000,000.00 win bonus so he'll actually get over the beating up a woman. Watch Ronda get pummelled.
