man outsources his own job to china

Wasn't this the subject of that Tim Ferriss self help book 4 hour work week?

pretty much.

i skimmed through it last week, but it was basically, find something your passionate about, think of a way to make money doing it.....then outsource it to somebody in Asia for 1/5 of your salary. You would spend about 4 hours a week touching base and reviewing the Asians..uh your work, then you'll have the rest of the week to ball out.

Tempting, but obviously risky.

I broke down his idea piece by piece to figure out how he got caught, and the results were amusing.
- His original plan = Very smart
- Not knowing the full details about con artists in the job market = not very smart.

He posted a job position and didn't realize that some of the people working for him lied on their resumes.

I'm just trying to bring back the old "use the search function!" attitude. I read that some people were complaining. :icon_lol:

I still find it an inspiring story.

i was just about to use the "theres no search function anymore" excuse but i've just realised its back. :icon_sad:

While i agree its hilarious and awesome, if your stuck there anyways why not do the work yourself?
