Reynolds, who was in the front passenger seat, says in the video that she was pulled over for a broken tail light. She says police asked Castile, who was driving, for his license and registration.

She says as Castile was reaching for his wallet, he informed officers that he had a firearm in his possession, and a conceal-and-carry permit.

Reynolds says in the video that an officer then shot her boyfriend four times.

The officer in the video appears to be very emotional, and at one point screams, “I told him not to reach for it! I told him to get his hand out …”

Reynolds, who is very composed, tells the officer, “You told him to get his I.D., sir, his driver’s license.”

She pans the cellphone camera over Castile, who is covered in blood.

“Oh my God, please don’t tell me he’s dead. Please don’t tell me my boyfriend just went like that,” Reynolds said

So sick of these shit threads. I understand justice wasn't being served, but how the fuck is showing the video on online forums going to do anything but rustle jimmies and cause hate speech.

Jesus that's so fucked up. The cops bucking up to her were out of line. They just shot her boyfriend for fucks sakes. The only threat there was the officer pointing his gun at a man with four bullets in him considering you know.. He just shot someone four times in front of a fucking child.

Thank goodness she recorded it.

That's a rough one to watch.

So you're saying to just bury your head in the sand?

What else don't you think should be discussed just because it rustles jimmies?

Yeah, let's turn a blind eye instead of insisting on the conversation about how black men are punishable by death when committing menial crimes or even exercising their 2nd Amendment right.

God forbid we start a conversation about our militant police, its fucked up culture, and its complete reliance on killing citizens as a preliminary prophylactic measure.

Wtf aren't the cops helping her boyfriend? Just let him die I guess.

Fucked up shit

That's really tough to watch. Yikes.

Im surprised they didnt cuff him
I'm surprised they didn't shoot her too. She was more calm then the cops and she just saw her boyfriend murdered

Huh, she is able to remain incredibly calm throughout the whole thing. It's very surreal that she is so calm while watching someone she cares about die 1 foot away.

Yeah the cop sounded like a bitch. I'm glad she called him out when he tried to make an excuse for his piss poor judgement.

Yea that's exactly what this video will start the debate about. Just more senseless violence shown to the public. It needs to be stopped, showing more videos on forums IMO not the way to fix the problem.

Let's make sure we rush to judgment and use this to advance our own narratives.

Probably a mix of shock and that pig would have probably shot her if she started screaming too much. He seemed to be a "jump to conclusions" kind of guy.
