Far-right violence has been on the rise since President Donald Trump entered the White House, according to a new analysis from The Washington Post on global terrorism data.

The report found that 92 out of 263 incidents of domestic terrorism between 2010 and the end of 2017 were committed by right-wing attackers, constituting a third of all incidents. Meanwhile, Islamist terrorists committed 38 attacks while left-wing attackers were responsible for 34 incidents.

"Over the past decade, attackers motivated by right-wing political ideologies have committed dozens of shootings, bombings and other acts of violence, far more than any other category of domestic extremist," the report states.

It’s the new world we live in and it’s everywhere, Hollywood, media, social media etc. People lose lives ,jobs, careers, friends and whatever else that can be taken away just for your views or who you support. In this thread we have people that would like nothing more than to see this happen to people they disagree with.

I have a friend I have a shared interest hobby we both enjoy but we are very different politically and I never bring up my conservative views , where he is always going there like it’s some sort of obligation that I agree with his views. Most times I just let it go, on occasion I will retort with if my views are a deal breaker in our friendship there’s the door. He has extreme TDS big time and can include Trump in almost any convo. I Come here to talk politics with people here but for the most part my views aren’t a big factor in my daily life.

Look, I get it if the person isn't trying to have a discussion, but is just preaching. I see that too on both sides.

What I don't understand is people who hold political views, but are unable or unwilling to defend those views.

That isn't a valued opinion, it is a faith. It is religion, and that should be shit upon. Being a republican or democrat shouldn't be treated as a religious belief.

I used numbers on right wing nut job violence from that were the definitely not perfect but multi Pulitzer Prize winning WaPo. Which is 100000000x more credible than stormfront, Info Wars, Breitbart, Fox News or any other right wing so called news source.
