Makwan Is the biggest Pantene pro now that Elias is gone....But if he comes in serious his grappling is a problem for any opponent. I can see Burgos out toughing him and beating him on the scorecards though

Odds are pretty much at evens in eurobooks. Weird. Maybe it’s local money on Amirkhani. I expected Bourgos to be a clear favorite. Amirkhani’s stand-up has been proven to be pretty bad where as Burgos' ground game is merely a mystery.

It does not look too bad for Makwan. He’s been training at SBG since mid-July, so I’m expecting, that he’s abadoned his boxing ambitions. I hope that gorgeous sub against Fishgold has inspired him to go back to his strengths.

Agreed. I believe those amateur boxing bouts he participated in were solely for him to get comfortable on the feet and get a feel for how to defend himself. I expect Makwan to shoot for a takedown in the opening minute.
