I was reading in a magazine about mens fitness and it had some interesting points in it but the only thing I got out of it was that.. there was a study showing People loseing more weight while doing healthy smoothies.. I looked through the whole thing and didn't find any ingredients for this. So my question is what is a healthy MRP/Smoothie I can make and so it doesn't pack on the pounds (trying to loose weight/gain muscle not fat) Thanks Sherdog
I guess get a vanilla flavored protein powder and mix it in with some milk and yogurt or and some fresh fruit or soemthing...these are the things you gotta play with till you find what works.
I was just seeing on other peoples little concojuctions (sp?) I've heard them with oats (oatmeal?) protein powders..ice, water,milk.. I don't know I was just wondering what others do or use and what kinda exact measurements they do to get there smoothies Thanks
Best (only) recipes are: 10 oz milk 1 frozen banana 2 scoops powder 1 spoon of peanut butter 1 scoop plain yogurt OR 10 oz cold water 1 cup oats 2 scoops protein powder 1 spoonful of peanut butter
Well tell me what kinda protein smoothie you make. So I myself can make one too so I can use it as a protein source and meal replacment
16 oz water 16 oz ice 1 frozen banana 1 scoop of vanilla protien powder 1 tablespoon of natural peanut butter and blend to desired thickness.... I dont think oats would be good in a shake...crunchy peanut butter is good though.
i broke mine two days ago. after breaking 3 cheap blenders i think i'm ready to drop a few hundred dollars on a vitamix.
What about honey in your shakes? Anyone do this? I just bought some dextrose and i gotta say...i hate it. It makes my shake taste like melted marshmellows. If i make my shake like above, 10 oz whole milk, one banana, table spoon of natural PB, tablespoon of strawberry yogurt, and one scopp of ON Whey is this going to be enough carbs/calories for a gainer shake? Should i add maybe a table spoon of the dextrose to it? Im 5 10 or so and baout 175lbs. Thanks for the help.
i don't have a blender but i need some protein in the morining what is some good powders i can mix in with water and stuff i got to look into getting a blender lol
my post workout smoothie is two scoops of protein, two servings of frozen mixed berries, a banana, some water, and a tablespoon of efa(essential fatty acids).
Mine is 16 0z milk 2 scoops Whey 1 banana 1 cup oats Natural Peanut Butter 6 egg whites 2 egg yolks non fat yogurt
i believe your body will only be able to absorb 35g of all this protein so if im correct putting all that stuff in will be useless
