Need some comic relief from all Lloyd Irvin drama? Check out what mmaguy30 and some of his posse over on the UG found. Shit makes submission 101 videos look like Ryan Hall instructionals. http://www.myspace.com/video/vid/107639995 Not entirely sure if it's proper to post links to UG threads here, but what the hell. http://www.mixedmartialarts.com/mma.cfm?go=forum.posts&forum=1&thread=2115264&page=4 Enjoy!
Damn, even I don't breathe that heavily after just 45 seconds hitting the bag. And I'm a fatty who doesn't have "hands made to war" tattooed on my arm. Edit: Gotta hand it to him, though. If I were training someone completely unaquainted with grappling, the first moves I would teach would be the gogoplata, and the straight ankle lock. Both incorrectly, of course.
Apparently he had already taught him a "leg bar" and heel hook before the video started. The student is probably the guy who heel hooked his dad.
I assumed that this was the guy's very first lesson, since he had no clue what guard was. Good lord. Listen to these, y'all: The fact that the interviewer seems to be a kid and he still doesn't buy the bullshit makes it all the better.
Thought he was trolling for sure, then I saw his tattoos Notice he is at a GNC or similar store with his shirt off. From his website he appears to only have one student at most. This person has a mental illness.
I think you may be right, which makes this less funny. Someone in the UG thread said that he seemed more Don Quixote than Frank Dux.
The guy they are all talking about also has a webpage where he talks about being an FBI secret agent, it was fedsareus.com, looks like he has taken it down sometime after this afternoon, but MMAGuy at the UG has a screen shot of it on page 7 of the UG thread about all of this. Also can't forget to mention the picture of him wearing what looks like a black belt 20 feet long with 15 stripes on the rank bar.
