A late change has been made to the UFC Vegas 12 card with Kevin Holland now expected to face late replacement Charlie Ontiveros after Makhmud Muradov was forced out of their fight due to undisclosed reasons.

Ontiveros is 11-6 and will make his UFC debut. He won his last 2 fights by 1st round KO

Lol this is the guy MVP blasted with elbows from side control! Good to see Bellator washouts like him and Buckley get a shot in the minors!

I see. Didn't know that. So that means he'll make it to the UFC even before this MVP guy. That's a great accomplishment I think.

    Good find.

It’s like an open door to get in the UFC these days. The UFC is flat out signing bums to use as cannon fodder.

Phil Hawes knocking out the guy who apparently is the water boy at Whittaker’s gym was flat out embarrassing for a PPV card.

I think Holland himself is a replacement fighter on this one? I guess that's the reward if you're willing to step up

Anybody can make it to the UFC nowadays. As long as you’re willing to fight cheap anyone can get in. Stop acting like it’s an exclusive club. Look at these cards. It’s LFA with a UFC main event. Fucking sad.

That guy had no business being in the UFC. Can’t believe the UFC has come to this.

Buckley was 3-2 in Bellator and one of his losses was Logan Storley. I wouldn't call him a washout.

Guy kind of reminds me of Seth Petruzelli

Too bad for him, Holland doesn't remind me of Kimbo

It was originally Jotko Vs Muradov, but Holland replaced Jotko and now this guy is replacing Muradov.

Yeah the UFC is becoming an embarassment with these signings.
And they can use the 1 in 100 guys like Chimaev as an excuse that they're "developing prospects" and shit.

Well it's still the UFC, no matter how you put it. It's the big league. If this guy seize this opportunity and actually win, he may be up for bigger things, who knows?

Holland should run through him easily, 1st round TKO.

Fair enough. I like Buckley though, I thought he looked much improved in the LFA and is probably UFC standard anyway.

UFC has been singing a lot of people that aren't anywhere near UFC standard this year (Ray Rodriguez, Ali AlQasi, Parker Porter, Carlton Minus) but I don't think Buckley is one of them.

I don't think Ontiveros is UFC standard either, but he's taking this on really, really short notice.

Only in your mind. It’s not the big league at all. It’s just the most popular. UFC does not have the best FW, WW, and LHWs in the world. This ain’t 2011 anymore. If he washed out of Bellator and succeeds in UFC how is it the “big leagues”? Bizarre the way ppl think. So glued to the idea that the UFC is automatically the best. It’s like a mental disorder.

I agree I like Buckley a lot and think he can be a good fighter. I love having open free agency in mma. It definitely makes things interesting when you’ve seen guys fight before in other major promotions.
