Yeah tend to agree with that, dunno how 49-46 came about though, it was closer to 48-47 Volk with the 2nd round being contentious than 49-46 Islam.

Islam is clearly a better striker. Technical, calm and efficient. Volk is sloppy AF.

I'd assume 5 but it was closer to 48-47 Volk than it was 49-46 Islam. 48-47 with the 2nd being close but can understand why it was given to Islam.

Islam caught Volk clean at least 15 times and each time Volk would nod at him. Volk caught Islam maybe 3 times clean the entire fight.
The takedowns Volk was stuffing did more damage to Islam than any of his strikes.

Why do fans gotta be like this. It was a great close fight. Both had their moments and displayed mma at the absolute highest level. Islam won by a thin margin but he won. Volk had islam hurt and surviving in the 5th. With the scoring criteria, the judges had it right tonight. Volks stock did not go down at all, in fact, his stock went up.
