Anything new headline developments pertaining to Trump that don't fit better in a different thread should go here. If you want to simply banter about Trump, such as a recent poster who asked, "Why does the left hate Donald Trump?", and whose OP basically didn't add anything to that question, then that goes here, too. Sir Loin...use this thread. We don't need a new one every time Donald sneezes.

Tired of dumping threads due to bloggy/lazy OP's.

Well obviously no matter who takes office, there will be SOME actions taken in the area. I didnt say ISIS would just walk away. I said Trump would be the LEAST hawkish. Which i maintain is true. I believe he would implement the Least amount of military action out of the group.
That gif made me laugh though, wiseass.

How is a total conquest of the region *less* hawkish than what anyone else is planning, though?

“A well-educated black has a tremendous advantage over a well-educated white in terms of the job market. I think sometimes a black may think they don’t have an advantage or this and that... I’ve said on one occasion, even about myself, if I were starting off today, I would love to be a well-educated black, because I believe they do have an actual advantage.’’

“Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day.”

“Laziness is a trait in blacks.”

“I have a great relationship with the blacks. I’ve always had a great relationship with the blacks.”

“Sadly, because president Obama has done such a poor job as president, you won’t see another black president for generations!”

“Our great African American President hasn’t exactly had a positive impact on the thugs who are so happily and openly destroying Baltimore.”

“And if you look at black and African American youth, to a point where they’ve never done more poorly. There’s no spirit.”

Actual quotes from your president.

finally, a president who is going to tell the truth to the "youths." someone to re ignite the spirit of people and explain to them that you CAN make it

enough of the WOE is me crap from obama and the rest of these agitators. it does nothing but keep people depressed and angry

millions of middle class black people would LOVE to have a white president brave enough to say what they can't . trump might be the guy to wake some black people up to the history they have had in the republican party, particularly during reconstruction. you know, the time period obama, SJW's, race theory clowns never talk about.

running at 25% with black voters as of a couple days ago

With a clothesline like this you know he will be able to get shit done

I don't know what's funnier. That you think Trump somehow resonates with middle class black or the fact you think he's actually going to get 25% of the black vote.

Trump took down this creature like a champ.

A wall is a rhetorical prop, how are you not seeing that? Increased border security, sure that might be reasonable in a general sense. However, then the questions are from what level and to what level. We've been increasing the number of agents on the border every year for a long time--it isn't making much of a difference. Trump isn't talking about that though, he's just giving you a prop. His whole "Mexico will pay for it" is just another part of his carny call.

If you think something is unethical and do it anyway you are, actually, an unethical shitbird and hypocrite. You're simply wrong on that point.

You're also wrong on the point about how he conducted his business. Trump had a choice with putting his name on mens wear. To simplify, he could slap his name on a cheap low quality product to make fast cash with a high profit margin; or he could put his name on a high quality product with a lower profit margin. He chose the former despite the fact that doing so went against his heartfelt opposition to outsourcing () rather than the later which would have allowed making his clothes here in the US like some higher end clothiers do. Again, Trump chose to make a cheap product and chose to have that product made abroad in sweatshops. That's a choice he wasn't forced into and for which there were options.

You assume that I assume he's sincere. However, since I'm not a fucking moron, I don't think he's at all sincere.

We disagree on the wall. I say a large wall with adequate staffing will stop illegal immigrants with no way of getting over or under it. You think it wont. Maybe they will have jet packs ? It will stop many and its ignorant to say differently. Im not talking about the pathetic fences that Bush put up, Im talking a real security wall. What level to what level ? Well so far we have had several administrations in a row pretending to secure the border while actually doing the opposite. The fences ? Give me a break. Anyone can see that wouldnt stop anyone. Our current administration has been accused many times by the border patrol themselves of tying their hands and obstructing them from doing their jobs. Another case of an administration bowing down to those who would have illegal immigration continue while placating the people with rhetoric. So really anyone who puts an honest effort in will do better than anyone else in the past 20 yrs.

Once again i will say that yes as a businessman he did what would make him the most money. Cant fault him for that.
At this point i give up on making you see that outsourcing is a problem with policy, not the ethics of businessmen. Change the policy, solve the problem. Youre just being obstinate at this point.

How is a total conquest of the region *less* hawkish than what anyone else is planning, though?

I guess we would have to define "total conquest" I definitely dont see going after the oil fields as "total conquest" of the region.

trump is the best presidential candidate in the last 20 years.

I guess we would have to define "total conquest" I definitely dont see going after the oil fields as "total conquest" of the region.

Maybe that's the difference. I think it would entail something like that. I think the idea that we could just go and control the oil fields without a much larger-scale war than we've had in generations is naive.

In generations huh ? A little dramatic, no ? Well i guess we will see what happens after Trump is elected. On a side note, great speech tonight from Trump. Truly inspiring.

C'mon man. It doesn't matter how well you build a wall and how many people you put on it. Desperate people will find a way through. It's been proven throughout history over and over again. Not only would it be impractical and insanely expensive just think of the PR nightmare that building a "Berlin Wall" along our southern border would be.

The same should be done for Sanders. He has my vote, but to be fair he should have one consolidated thread instead of a bunch of random threads.

I truly believe that if we built a well secured wall with sufficient technology and manpower to monitor that we could absolutely stop masses of poor migrants with nothing but a backpack on their person from getting across. It could be done. Its not like we are trying to stop an army of well equipped architects. A large wall absolutely would work. And it would create many jobs at the same time. If the wall goes from border to border all the people who are literally just running across would be stopped, they just would. I dont believe we have had an administration that has honestly made an effort at all, just lies and rhetoric. Too many powerful entities that dont want the flow of illegals to stop coming in that have too much influence over our leaders. I think you would see just how possible it is if we had a government who was making a true effort.

Also we have a system set up to let them in. We even have "rest spots" for illegals in the desert with a sign that has a button on it that when pushed will bring agents to them with food and water. Are they turned back around every time ? Nope. The wall is just one part of the plan. Get rid of an administration that ties the hands of our border patrol first of all. Then build a wall. Increase the number of border agents. Implement technology that detects tunnels, Prosecute those that would hire illegals,e-verify and other methods to stop those overstaying their visas, put a stop to all the loopholes that allow illegals to fraudulently collect social programs. Do away with the whole "anchor baby" scenario.

The wall is just one of many things that need to be done, but it will be an effective part of that plan. As far a paying for it ? Well as ive said earlier lets take it from our inflated defense fund or maybe from the insane amounts of money we send to Israel. But no matter where we take it from, it will pay for itself after a certain period of time with the money it saves us by stopping illegals.

And as far as the PR problem ? Who cares what others think of what we do as long as we are doing whats right for our country ?

I'm cool with that. So far nothing approaches the Ron Paul zeal we saw the last time around. I almost dumped the most recent Bernie thread because it looked like a similar off-the-cuff bloggy troll OP, but then I followed the link and found it was actually a somewhat serious look at how Bernie is handling such large donations (in this case from Daniel Craig).

Anyone is free to start a Bernie megathread. I created this one rather than consolidating all the dead pre-existing threads from the last several months (sometimes several years) which is what I usually do.

*Edit* Wait, I thought we already had a discrete Bernie thread? Wasn't it titled "Feel the Bern!" or something like that? I couldn't find it in a search, though. If one already exists, then I'll merge all the other minor Bernie headline threads into it.

Trump knows this because he has been a lifelong businessman. He has seen how it benefits corps while hurting the American people. Now he wants to become someone who can change that. He now wishes to set up a system that benefits the workers of this country. His experience in the business world is beneficial to becoming president. As a liberal you should be happy that a republican is trying to change the system in order to benefit the workers of this country. How does his stance on trade deals, tariffs and keeping jobs in America differ from What Sanders has said on the same issues ?

Trump would grind your carcass into paste and sell it as soylent green if he thought there was a buck to be made.

After Trumpmania conservatives are never allowed to mock Hope and Change (c) again. That card has been officially revoked.

A large wall absolutely would work. And it would create many jobs at the same time

The best part about this is it the lions share of these jobs would undoubtedly go to illegal immigrants.

Really wish Trump would start directly buying votes from Americans, I would be down to sell mine.

Cool to see one thread made for Trump stuff. Would be awesome if we could get something similar in the Heavies for McGregor stuff.

Lasers and alligators. Spare no expense.

The presidential debates in the GOP look exactly like a fight among 2-3 naughty kids on the playground. They yell at each other, promise to call the daddy, provoke, lie and even fight. This kind of interacting within the party may turn bad for the whole party cause people may get tired of clowning.
The most successful artist is definitely Trump. The guy has made an aggressive speach about i guess, each of his opponents.
Even the calm and judicious Carson caught it!

Yes you can, and you should. If you think something is wrong and you do it anyway because you can get away with it, what kind of person does that make you?

In general absolutely, but in that article Trump was fairly complimentary. While saying he doesn't think Carson has the kind of 'power CEO' negotiating energy to deal with other leaders he said Ben is a nice guy and Trump accepted Ben's apology for going after his faith.

As a businessman, yes. As a President, im hoping he would have a different agenda that making himself money. At least that sounds like the case.
Im not a conservative :icon_lol:

Lasers and alligators. Spare no expense.

Actually its sharks with lasers :icon_lol:

Trump is a very dangerous person. It would be bad for America if he gets elected. Populist rabble-rousers like him usually turn fascist quickly. He will be bought off easily and the political will that he has earned with the American people by talking about subjects Americans actually care about (illegal immigration, etc) will be co-opted by the same old gang who runs things behind the scenes. Trump would take America in a dangerous direction, and I say this as a person who agrees with some of what Trump says. I am familiar with history and human nature and Trump has Mussolini written all over him. Bernie Sanders is dangerous in another way - he is a naive commie. The sheeple are pissed and they want to rock the boat, but they are too stupid to understand history and human nature, so they are going to get played again, but really badly this time.

Its called capitalism. By your standards, you would be accusing every corporate entity in existence of the same. How do you feel about Apple ?,Nabisco?,every car company?, every technology company for that matter ?

His insults have been to call her a loser and ugly. That's less like a champ and more exactly like a dumb little spoiled brat.

Actually its sharks with lasers :icon_lol:
Sharks make no sense, you'd need the moat to be too deep to maintain, too much water, and careful monitoring of salinity. Alligators or, better yet, Nile crocodiles--though I'm not sure how Trumps ridiculous tariffs would affect their importation. We also don't want foreign crocodillians to take the jobs of americans. What's Trump's position on worker visas?

Look, you're saying--and Trump is saying--that outsourcing is really, really wrong. If you think something is really, really wrong and you still do it, what does that make you?

The fact that we as consumers don't always punish companies for unethical behavior is moot.

It was badass. He took down that nutjob like a champ.

Building a wall in conjunction with severely cracking down on those who knowingly employ illegals would drastically reduce illegal immigration to a manageable number. Also, you immediately negotiate the transfer of all illegals we are currently housing in our prisons back to their native countries prisons.

As a trump supporter the wall is optional...it's the fact that someone is making illegal immigration a priority again that is important.

Trump recently called CEO pay disgusting and said Hedge Fund guys need to pay more taxes. Very Bernie like of him.

Immigration has been a priority for a while now, and Trump's ideas on the subject are that of a bloviating windbag.

It was badass. He took down that nutjob like a champ.

Adamant is "a real loser" and "a [wo]man out of control." He is a "fat pig," a "dog," a "slob" and a "disgusting animal."

There. I've taken Adamant down like a champ and a badass, since that was verbatim the entirety of what trump has said about rosie in the past year.

Land sharks bro. This is Trump we're talking about. Those Sharks will be on the illegals asses so fast your head will spin.

She started it, and her insults certainly weren't above the belt.

And I don't believe that was verbatim, unless you are quoting Megyn Kelly.

it hasn't been a priority… I just heard a speech by Trump and he said no one was even talking about immigration until he brought it up. In fact, now everyone is calling him apologizing :icon_lol:

If you put those quotes next to a picture of President Obama people on the right with lose their minds..
"Class warfare"
"Socialism"
"Redistribution of wealth"

Look, you're saying--and Trump is saying--that outsourcing is really, really wrong.

It is absolutely wrong. It is just corporations trying to suck as much money out of our country with giving nothing back.

If you like outsourcing american jobs to india you are garbage flat out. We should not be losing jobs in america when we are selling services in america to some asshole that will work for 20 cents an hour. Period.
