Are you gonna bet your friend six bucks that Machida wins by KO but aren’t sure it’s a good idea so you’re asking us for our insight about this bet?

Would be amazing if Machida pulled off a win though. I’ll be rooting for him.

It seems Machida is going the BJ Penn route. He's well on his way to having 4 devastating losses consecutively. It does seem like at least borderline irresponsible matchmaking to have him at this phase taking on a rising contender whose clearly looking to make as large an impact as humanly possible. I mean, really, this is an obscene matchup for a anyone with three highlight reel finish losses in a row, regardless of where they were before this.
 
I am a Machida fan, but he's been figured out unfortunatelly.

never seen nor heard of this guy prior to just now. saw the highlights and his fight style seems like machida bane. The way i see a machida win is by counter knock out otherwise the other dude whos name i dont remember looks like he has the skills to pressure him and take it

No, he's just too old, chinny and damaged now. His style is geared for a younger fighter--it depends heavily on speed and reflexes. The 2009 version of Machida would still be a nightmare for Anders and a lot of other fighters. Guys who liked to come forward and press the action fell right into his traps and counters.
 
Why specifically 6$ though? Is this the last of your money? Do you walk into the bookies and hand them a 5$ bill and 1$ bill? Why stop at 6 make it 6.75
