Well the movie bombed and has pretty universally bad reviews.
And the issue with this particular movie isn't that it's bad. It's that it's utterly pathetic to make a movie that is literally a carbon copy of your dad's movies.
That's not art. It's anti-art.
You know, thinking your opinion is the final word is like standing in a hurricane with a weather vane and calling yourself the North Star.
Sure, you might think it’s a bad movie, maybe a knockoff of her dad’s flick...which, let’s not forget, is based on a book that might not be winning any awards either.
But again, that’s just your take.
Art is a conversation, a dialogue between the artist and the audience.
Whether you hate it or love it, you’re still talking about it, and that means it’s doing its job.
Edit: I absolutely relish it when people resort to laugh emojis instead of offering a thoughtful response. It’s always a joy to see them use these dismissive tactics, clearly revealing their inability to come up with an intelligent counterargument.
I take this as a silent concession to my point.
