How could he live knowing he retired on a two fight losing streak? Talk about a bitter pill to swallow. I'm not even talking about a title run, but he could for sure go on a decent win streak at LHW. Like two or three fights at least. OSP, Old man Shogun or the other jobbers are all winnable fights for Machida.I've been driving the Machida war wagon since his K-1 day, but it's time to face facts. There will be no successful comeback; no return to glory. He's 38 and time has caught up to him. Lyoto is dependent on reflexes and quickness, and those are the first things to go as an athlete ages. He's been brutalized in his last 2 fights and I have no desire to see it happen again.
Lyoto has left his mark on the sport. He's a legend. It's now time to walk off into the sunset. Perhaps 1 more fight against a mid-tier guy, just to go out on a good note, then hang up the gloves.
It was a fun ride.
hahahahahahhCheers to that
Cheers to that
This man is not only a legend, he was upfront about his use and DID NOT TEST POSITIVE! And still you hear crickets regarding his suspension.

I'm not a Machida hugger so that post doesn't bother me. I was actually quite peeved about him robbing Shogun.
