Luke Rockhold wants trilogy fight with Michael Bisping @ 205

It only makes sense for that farewell bout to be the Rockhold trilogy, right? Bisping brought it up on his podcast recently. And Rockhold would like to see it happen, too, he told Ariel Helwani on Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour. He said it is currently “in discussion.”

“You know that’s a fight that, if it’s on the table, I’m gonna have to put that at the front of the line before I do anything else,” Rockhold said. “If he can back up what he just said, I’ll be very willing to take that fight any where, any time.”

“Let’s make it a little more intriguing,” Rockhold said. “Let’s bring it to 205.”

Rockhold made it clear in the interview that he was very much down to fight and put the ball squarely in Bisping’s court to accept.

“Why don’t we do this thing in style?” Rockhold said. “Let’s sign on the bottom line. … I know this is a fight the UFC is pursuing. So, we’ll see. We’ll see if Bisping can back up his mouth once again.”

Even though I hate Cuckhold with a passion, he does deserve a third fight with Bisping.

It's the fight to make. Bisping doesn't seem to realize he had the potential for a couple great rivalries in Rockhold and Henderson. I think with Henderson he was happy he just edged out a win.

My understanding is he's looking for the easiest retirement fight he can get, which is utter bullshit after all the shit he talked while holding up his division as champion for over a year.

From champion to looking for an unranked fighter. The Bisping legacy.

Bisping has been a MW for 10 years. This sounds to me like Rockhold is just trying to give himself an advantage because he is an enormous MW.

And if this fight happens I want to see Rockhold send Bisping into retirement with a 3rd straight devastating loss. I just feel that the trilogy fight should take place at the same weight as the previous two.

Bisping is a big boy. The weight gap between him and Luke is negligible imo.
