No, you've got it wrong! The UFC is screwing him and has failed to market him 'cuz like Dana heart Conor 4ever! ... or something. Don't we all know that Luke is every bit as exciting as Conor and Ronda, if only given the chance??!?
That was sardonic obviously. But you make a good point - despite Luke's prepossessing looks, his accomplishments, and the championship belt, he just doesn't have 'face for radio'.
There have many bizarre threads of late claiming that popular fighters (i.e., Conor) are simply a product of the UFC marketing engine. While I like Luke as a fighter, and he is probably a genuinely cool guy, he is exhibit A that such logic is hollow.

I enjoy his personality. I think he makes a good villain. He has a devilish charm about him and speaks seriously about everything and you can tell he means everything he says. None of it seems fake. You dont want everyone to be like Conor. That would be very boring and annoying.

Great fighter as well how can anyone dislike him is crazy to me. Most people who dislike Rockhold are stone cold haters. Dude can fight is an animal in the cage and is a class act.

I don't mind him being arrogant,I don't really mind cocky fighters. Its that he seems fake to me. Just like someone extremely insecure who tries to act confidant and comes off douchey as fuck.

He is confidant in his skills,but he is trying too hard with the act and it seem forced. He probably thinks he needs to talk more trash or stand out more as if his natural personality is not good enough. It's just the way he comes off to me,maybe I'm wrong.

Why are you getting defensive,I'm just giving my opinion. Not bashing the guy by any means. Of course he can do and say the fuck he wants,I just feel like it's forced. A lot of people agree that he comes off arrogant,I actually think he is not but he is trying to be for whatever reason. I'm sure he is way more likable off camera.

Would you want to take a road trip with Luke? No. Can he fight? Yes. A milk toast champion with Luke. A milk toast challenger with Chris. Neither one of them can sell this fight. I'm not shelling out 60 dollars for it. But Ill be pulling for the Chris.
