otherwise no one would care for them.

If the UFC could get the best HW athletes / fighters, nobody would care about the other weight classes.

    Thats the hard reality.

    Do you agree?

I just like watching people beat each other up, don't care about weight classes.

    Size matters

That's why FW and LW Conor McGregor has headlined 5 of the top 6 UFC PPV's in company history.

If they could pay for the best HW athletes everyone would be laughing at how bad there cardio as. The A level athlete kink that Sherdog has would diminish over the course of a year.

size doesn't seem to matter in terms of earnings for combat sports. It certainly helps for winning in combat sports though!

Unsurprisingly, the ability to market the fighter seems to be the key: Mayweather, GSP, Chael, Conor, De La Hoya, Canelo, GGG, Ronda etc.

I think Mighty Mouse would've been popular with more backing.

The age of people fetishizing roided giants is over. Fights at lower weight divisions have always been more exciting, heavyweights have always looked like they were wading through molasses compared to smaller fighters.

You're in the minority. People want to see intriguing personalities and skillsets regardless of size. See Floyd, Conor, Ronda.

Imagine putting effort into making a thread bashing weight classes because you were born a gifted 6"8 Sherdogger

What exactly are you trying to show with kopeka? The guys like 6'0 200, seems like a pretty average to slightly above average sized dude to me.

This thread is all sorts of stupid.
