Jon Bones Jones

Definitely a good fight, I don’t see how that was a unanimous decision Costa

Chris Weidman

Had Romero last 2 rounds

Rafael dos Anjos

What a fight!!! Borrachinha fought like a warrior but Yoel got this one.

Aljamain Sterling

I thought Romero won. #UFC241

Matt Brown

It came down to round two and Yoel didn’t pull ahead until the last minute or two of the round tough call not a robbery either way at all

JIMI MANUWA

Romero should have won !! #UFC241

James Vick

Yoel won that fight!!

Michael Chiesa

I got Romero winning that one.

Dennis Bermudez

Completely insane fight !! But I think @YoelRomeroMMA won. Very close fight tho. Hats off to both gentlemen ! #ufc241

I agree with Jones, there's no way it's an unanimous decision. Even Weidman and Dos Anjos, a fellow brazilian, acknowledge it

Gotta say I agree 2nd was close but I thought with the last second takedown you had to give the nod to Yoel. Costa clearly won the first and Romero clearly won the 3rd. Was surprised when Buffer said it was unanimous.

All the fights should be a Draw unless is obvious who won, and everybody should fight 5 rounds

I don’t see how the last second TD gave Romero the second round , IMO it was 29-28 Costa, Romero only won the 3rd. Either way it wasn’t a robbery

I had it 2-1 Costa, he controlled the octagon for the first two rounds, gave Yoel the third but didn’t think it was controversial at all.

A take down at the end of a round which you can't do anything with does not win a round.

Good judging, great close fight.

I had Costa 2-1 but Yoel looked considerably worse than usual. Pre War Yoel takes it.

Octagon control is a part of the scoring as well.

Yoel was way too passive. A shame he didn't go for more takedowns. Not even ankle pick attempt? Pff

Had Romero all out beasted in round 3 and gotten a 10-8 on the cards, it still would've only been a draw. Costa took the first two without question imo. Surprised so many folks saw this fight differently. Costa advanced 50% of the time in the first two rounds and landed more significant shots. Romero won round two but not by a landslide.

Matt Brown with the only intelligent response.

I feel Matt Brown's assessment is really the key. Round 2 was competitive but you could definitely make the argument Costa did enough in the earlygoing to take it. And if you accept that, you can certainly accept that he won the fight.

It implies he could have had control of the fight if the round didn't end

It was a close fight that could've gone either way. Had Romero got the decision then there would be another group on social media disagreeing with the decision. The judges' decision is what matters and Costa took it their eyes so just shut up and move forward, i'm sure these two will find themselves across the cage from one another again in the future.

I watched at work with sound off and my coworkers and I were all clearly of the belief that Costa won rounds 1 and 2. Was rogan commentary pro yoel in round 2? That does sway peoples opinions often times

Must be collective mental retardation mixed this forum being full of cucks.

It's as clear as day that costa won the first two rounds: Octagon control, pressure, more shots landed, the knockdown, the harder shots landed etc. The takedown at the end of the second round doesn't outweight the 4 minutes and 50 seconds of the rounds that he lost.

The third round was actually close, a 10-9 for Romero but nothing big for him in that round, he won that round the same way costa won the previous two.

Most of the shots landed by romero were pitter patter counters while he was eating more and harder shots with his back against the fence.

With that being said, these two are absolute tanks. The likes of Rockhold and Weidman would get knocked unconscious just by watching this fight LOL.

If Yoel had mixed in some more punches with the tongue sticking he would have had a clear win.
He also should have wrestled more,I'm sure he could have gotten that takedown a minute or 2 earlier.

yoel would've probably won a 5 round fight, but costa was really walking him down in the first 2
