That is obviously why he & Lorenzo had the fall-out (see my thread on that) a few weeks ago.
They give him a huge guarantee & he wants to do less.

Yeah thats why many were shocked UFC would even do business this way since they are so performance based in the past. It appears Lorenzo has learned his lesson too by the tone.

In the Zuffa contracts when it comes to 'fighter conduct' it states they must do 'all publicity'. That is different than the bout agreement.
So Conor signed TWO legal documents agreeing to do media.
I guess Lorenzo thought that was enough to guarantee Conor would promote

I guess Zuffa might add some clauses about Conor fulfilling the commitments, etc.
Only thing we know for sure is that we cannot predict anything with CM.

I thought the language in Zuffa contracts was not clear when it came to promotion. I thought it worded as the fighter must do a "reasonable" amount of media which obviously is a gray area. Going forward Conor needs to get everything in writing stating exact promotional obligations.
