Apologies, I'm sure this has been asked innumerable times. I'm interested in a kickboxing / muay thai style class in the Santa Monica area. I sifted through the school directory, but didn't see anything local.

If anyone knows of a local class, I'd appreciate the info.

Bomb Squad Gym on Santa Monica between Fairfax and La Brea in West Hollywood. Muay Thai, Boxing and Eddie Bravo's 10th Planet Jujitsu is there also.

I actually looked into that gym. It may be a bit too far for the schedule unfortunately. Getting from Olympic to that gym @ 6pm will be tough with work. Hows the atmosphere there? Don't care to compete with egos, just want to go learn.

Have you checked out the Inosanto Academy in Marina Del Rey?

Im comming from Santa Monica, and yea sometimes traffic does make it a little rough. The atmosphere is really great though, no egos, people of all levels. I've been there for about 4 months now.
