Looking to train specifically for MMA. Should I just go to a good Muay Thai place?
Anyone know any good gyms in this area to train stand up?

I was just in Redondo Beach and I made a similar thread that helped me.

    This gym Boxing Works- http://hermosaboxingworks.com/

in Hermosa Beach is good. I didn't go to the Muay Thai classes who are taught by a pro named Bryan ( I believe he has an account here) though, only the boxing classes and it was just for 2 days.

Good gym though, there are some very skilled people there and they were friendly as well.

Oh sorry. Pretty much anywhere between El Segundo, Redondo/Manhattan Beach, Torrance, to North Long Beach.

Looking for a place that regularly trains and puts out fighters at the amateur and pro level.

Everything you just said fits in perfect with the gym I mentioned. I would give it a shot if I was you, first class is free.
