    Now we all now that the name 'Gracie' summons up images like 'black belt level trolling' and '400-0 my ass, Rickson!', long before we associate it with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

    But GracieMag, the propaganda outlet for their brand, has just offered us the single greatest example of Gracie-derived bullshit since Gracie Breakdown assured us that Royler dominated Eddie Bravo in their rematch at Metamoris Three and made a video showing us how Royler wiped the floor with Eddie.

    In a piece published today, they relate Anderson Silva's desire to compete at the BJJ Worlds and his dream of winning a match there. Pretty impressive, I thought (and I'm the biggest Anderson fan): it's not about winning, just testing himself as a martial artist.

    <mma4>

    And then I saw this...

    'August 2010. Anderson Silva faced Chael Sonnen for the UFC middleweight belt. The fight was going well, but the Spider couldn’t pull off his much-desired knockout on his rival.'

    The fight was going well.

    The fight was going well.

    The fight was going well.

    The fight was going well.

    The fight was going well.

    <6>

    This is actually better than when the Gracies insisted that Royler crushed Eddie. Like, way better. All-time greatest Gracie bullshit ever? Yes.

    Who cares? Chael deserves no credit for that fight, he tapped and then tried to deny it. Absolute scumbag move.

    To be fair Anderson had a rib injury which for anyone who has ever had one will know is completely debilitating.

    Oh and then Sonnen's test results showed ridiculous testosterone levels for that fight.

    What happened in the rematch would've been more severe at UFC 117 if there was a level playing field.

    To be fair Anderson's 'rib injury' was as legit as Chael's basically clean claims.

    Nah Anderdson got lucky Chael tripped and then he kneed the head of a grounded fighter.

    I don't deny it. Can't stand Chael. But the fight was not 'going well' for Anderson.

    I would've assumed it was a typo if the rest of the sentence didn't disprove that. That's bonafide Brazilian propaganda lol

    and I'll have to watch the Royler/Eddie breakdown. Royler did well early, but he clearly lost that match. Eddie worked him.

    Its not something he made up to cover for a bad performance, watch the 'Like Water' documentary and you'll see it was a huge problem leading into the fight.

    Meh, both were on PEDs. Chael just didnt have top game to finish Anderson like Weedman did. No power in his top strikes.

    The one that finally came out 2 years after the fight happened?
    "Huge problem" ? 5 minutes was spent on talking about his 'injury' in that documentary.

    There's no proof of that so called injury what so ever.

    I think this is it (could be wrong). Rogan said that the Gracies had 'embarrassed themselves' with it:
