Honestly Raid3d, a fullbody split is just fine when you are starting out, and so are a push pull squat routine. I dont buy that you -have to- go through fullbody first.
 
Ra1d3d your routine is fine for a beginner. It's a basic power routine. It's perfect for someone just starting out. Also to awnser your question on abs, just find a wieght that you can get between 8-12 reps with.

I respect Carnal since he does make sense, but there are several approaches that will also work, and I'm sharing my inputs
