Lombard says he's around 178 right now. He says the weight cut has been tough and wants to fight again at 185…

He's two days out so he should be fine weight wise, but that's kind of worrying that he's already thinking of 185 again

EDIT: Here he is 2 weeks ago. Kinda hard to wonder where the last 8lbs is coming off from...

I hope he makes weight! But he doesn't seem to be oozing confidence

On UFC Tonight they said he wants to fight at 185 if he has to so he can fight on the Australia card in Dec. He said he wants to be on that show and doesn't care if it's 170 or 185.

He said he's fighting at 170 to show the UFC he's a team player.

He had a rough cut to 185 as well.. Doesn't mean he's having a tougher time than everyone else dude. When he fought Okami, he had to cut 24 pounds in ilke 4 days.. says he lost 30 pounds since that fight.. I'm sure its tough, but I've seen interviews where he said he thinks he's gonna perform better at 170.

I do not feel bad for people that have trouble cutting weight. I wish weight cutting wasn't allowed and you had to fight people that you know weigh the same as you.

He's not going to beat Nate anyway so he may aswell go back to 185.

He needs to shed some muscle...I just can't see him getting the better of the top heap at Middleweight. Okami, though he got hurt, showed that bigger guys can muscle Lombard around. I think if he cuts properly he can be more competitive at 170 but we'll see what happens with him and Nate

I doubt he had much of a choice in fighting at 170 for this fight. He was 1-2 and comes with a large pay day and had to do something to justify getting another shot. Dropping a weight class is generally one of the few options fighters get to get themselves another fight with the UFC.

This is a critical time. If it were summer, things would be different but we're now in October. No matter how much Lombard moves his body, the sweat doesn't come out easily. Right now his dried skin is like the weathered side of a broken down building. Lombard has very little water left to sweat out. All of the remaining liquid is being used by his vital systems....Lombard must clear this challenge before he can even fight.

First there's a short temper due to hunger. For the first couple of days all you can think about is food. But then you completely forget about food altogether. Your mind turns to liquid. In the beginning, you want things like cola or juice...sweet drinks that have lasting taste, they spin in your head continuously. And finally water! Eventually, water is all you can think of.

Ariel Helwani's twitter: point was, he's making his debut @ 170. Some say, the cut's great! He was very honest about it. I thought that was newsworthy

Bet that house bro LMAO!!! :icon_lol:

Nate at +145....If Nate can last long enough until Lombard gasses out...

I don't want Lombard at 185, his frame is too small for that, he just needs to dolce diet and do more cardio. I want to see

170lb Lombard fights: Nick Diaz, Lawler, Hendricks, Koscheck, Matt Brown

Dan Hardy and Paul Daley would also be awesome

185 Lombard fights: Leben, Wand, Cung Le, Bisping, Belfort,

Just keep him away from big wrestlers at 185
