Thought Ellenberger is facing Tarec at UFC Singapore? I guess they would make Ellenberger/Lombard in Singapore. Lombard wants to fight in Australia, but they have filled that card already, so I doubt he gets in. Singapore is far closer to Australia than the US is, so I guess he could headline a card relatively close to his home.

Lombard has said yes to every fighter tweeted to him. He doesn't care.

I still hold a faint glimmer of hope that they add Lombard to the Australia card. They could push one of the undercard fights to a different event and fit Lombard in.

Lombard wants to be on the Australia card so bad! I remember seeing him at the Gold Coast event in the crowd. He was so happy and a nice guy too which might surprise you. Everyone that approached him he gave an autograph or signed their gear.

Based on? Dude has never been finished by strikes and seems like he can take a punch, Ellenberger has be knocked out before so thats gotta give Lombard something though its probably gonna be whoever gasses first gets Ko'd. Jake should fall back to his wrestling to tire Hector if he wants to win soundly.

I feel as though the UFC brass may do as such considering Lombard took minimal damage in his win against Marquardt. Only time will tell though -- I'd love to see him fight in front of his home (as he puts it of course, I know he's Cuban).
 
Lombard v ellenberger sounds good. Too bad jake has a fight scheduled. Lombard v Lawler and Lombard v Alves sound fun too.
 
I would absolutely love to see this fight happen, I got Hector Lombard by KO/TKO!
 
Awesome fight, wouldn't mind seeing Lombard vs E Silva either. They gave him a couple of grinders at MW when he first came in and they need to match this guy up against some strikers. I think he would struggle with some of the wrestlers at WW too but put him up against some guys that will trade with him. Lombard vs Ellenberger=fireworks.
