He's old as fuck by soccer standard, but he's still young as fuck by MMA standards and young enough for boxing.
 
I’m not sure which of the brothers I watched but I was really surprised. He went the distance in an 8 round fight with no fights and just started training in boxing.
It’s really impressive. And by no means am I saying he should be fighting really anyone with experience or the guys he mentioned.

apparently he has quite a following so he can make money at this in celebrity circus side show fights.

I actually like it. I loved celebrity boxing on fox they used to do. You got to see Joey buddodouco fight Chyna. Manure bol vs the fridge.

I'm disturbed by the one or two posters above me who insinuated that J. Paul would have even ther slightest chance of beating a full-time fighter, MMA or Boxing, in a fair fight.

First of all, Masvidal has been throwing hands professionally for 15-20 years and is still in his physical prime. He would ass rape this kid. Full stop... moving along

Askren for what he lacks in skill has proven himself to be a hard man, as we saw in the Robby Lawler fight. Ben's legit a tough dude. Jake Paul's a poser. Ben Askren is a standup/boxing hack but he still beats Paul.

I’d confidently pick jake Paul over askren in a boxing match from what I’ve seen. You’d need to also factor in the huge size difference as well.
 
What weight does Askren walk at? This Jake Paul guy is like 200 pounds, is that right? I'll take Ben all day.
 
From what I understand Ben Askren is completely broken down and wont be fighting professionally again.
 
Ben has no standup skills of any kind. His claim to fame has always been that he's one of the best folkstyle/collegiate wrestlers we've ever produced in America along with being a former Olympic freestyle wrestler. He did decent for himself in MMA up until his UFC run (aside from the Lawler win). Khabib has better striking than Ben and that says a lot, really. Ben is even worse than Jake Shields was on the feet.

I'm looking forward to watching Nate Robinson style on him. I have a feeling that he's going to be humbled by a world class athlete on Nov 28th.
