Werdum is a beauty. He's crafty both inside and outside the cage. Almost zero athleticism so the fact that he rose so highly in the ranks, makes his career that much more impressive.

Pretty sure they had beef before that thing happened. I remember Tony talking about what lead up to it. Not sure what it was though.

Werdum absolutely came out looking better there. Well not "there" since that 2 minutes is just them at their most confrontational. But the actual, unedited, more than 10 minute version? Clearly showed Tony as being in the wrong.

Where did you get this from? It is physically not possible for a current HW to be that weak

theres no universe where Werdum won that exchange. it doesn't matter if he would kill Ferg in a fight, he still lost.

Tony held his ground and was ready to go, while still being perfectly calm. Werdum walked away bitching and crying.

Werdum started getting really personal over nothing.
Turned it into something that could have been handled with a witty reply.

Kind of a bully move to throw his weight around.

I tried to find the video but it doesn't seem to be up anymore

I swear it's true, but I wouldn't believe it either if I hadn't seen it for myself

He comes out looking better when you watch what actually happened instead of the 2 minute video posted in the OP that is edited to show only when the confrontation happens.

Werdum is polite the whole time while Tony does passive-aggressive shit like saying he is going to fight Werdum (while Werdum is sitting next to him eating). Fabricio is legit confused, and lets Tony rant about how other fighters are pieces of shit etc etc... typical Tony chip on shoulder stuff. Werdum finally has enough and calls him on the overbearing negativity. If anything Werdum showed restraint.

I guess if you've seen it... But for a guy practising any sport it is nothing.

Although i have seen a very thin 15-16 y.o. guy who couldn't bench press an empty bar (20kgs=44lbs) even 1 time. He got squashed. But this was his 1st visit to the gym i think.

    https://forums.sherdog.com/threads/werdums-bench-press-looking-pretty-weak-135ilbs-vid.3524013/

this instagram post of him struggling with 135 for 2 is the closest thing I could find

I agree, it's an absolutely abysmal bench press

Bench press obviously doesn't mean a whole lot in mma but I would think that it's at least a partial indicator of overall strength and athletic potential. I guess Werdum is the exception.
