lol at this KSI fight on DAZN

Hope Hassanabi folds him.
he wont, Hassan is a coward. also a hypocrite denouncing capitalism while living in a nice lush pad in California. the guy is a complete moron and a fake socialist grifter. Sam is at least funny. and if Hassan wanted to "punch nazis" he would fight Sam (who isnt a nazi but thats what smoothbrains think) to back up his beliefs.

but i dont think he will. if he loses then his whole image and following is done for. he's already started banning people for using the words Candyman or Candy in his twitch chats.

i love it when people say this shit.

i swear to god if any of you actually read anything about leftist or socialist policies and didn't know they were by "communists", you'd agree with them.

edit: oh and to clarify, i've no fucking clue about this turkish dude. never heard of him before this thread, i have no opinion on him being a hypocritical asshole or not.

respectfully, i am well aware of what socialism/communism is. we have socialist policies in the USA, look at retirement and welfare. im not against socialist policies when incorporated into a democratic or otherwise mostly free framework. when you go full socialist/communist, thats when your country goes to shit, and there are tons of examples (Venezuela, a lot of eastern euro bloc countries, North Korea, etc). im anti-totalitarian in an absolute sense. communism and fascism are two sides of the same retarded coin. they restrict personal freedom and hamper creativity and individuality. i have never and will never support any person who advocates for them. Democracy may be flawed but at least you and I may discuss our opinions freely without being secret police'd somewhere and never seen again.

if hassan had any integrity he would be using his money to help further more socialist causes rather than spend it lavishly on himself. Champagne socialism to a T.

nowhere in the communist manifesto does it say that workers are not to buy themselves a nice house, or earn money. the whole point is to empower the workers and distribute the profits to them. my point is that owning a nice house does not make him a hypocrite. advocating for socialist reform and avoiding to pay taxes would make him a hypocrite. claiming he supports socialist policies, but donating money to politicians who want to lower the taxes of the rich would make him a hypocrite. again, for all i know the fucker does that and is in fact a hypocrite, but calling him one for owning a house is unfair.

i am (or was) a capitalist by definition. i owned the means of production, so to speak, as i was the owner of the company i worked at. i sold it a year ago, for a profit. i believe unchecked capitalism is a flawed system that causes unnecessary harm to society, i support policies that benefit the workers, i support raising taxes on the rich. does that make me a hypocrite? i live in a western democracy and have no choice but to participate in the system, but i can still criticise it and vote for politicians that look to change it, right?

the idea that the only way you can be critical of capitalism is to literally live without any luxury is backwards. we all know that if he was poor, his criticisms would've been dismissed as jealousy.

i can't stand the cunt, but russel brand has a really great quote on this: "When I was poor and I complained about inequality, they said I was bitter, now that I'm rich and I complain about inequality, they say that I'm a hypocrite. I'm starting to think they just don't want to talk about inequality."

is this hassan dude really advocating for a full communist totalitarian system with one party rule, though? the description on wikipedia barely makes him left wing anywhere outside of the US. maybe i'm wrong and he wants all sorts of stupid shit, but it doesn't seem so from reading his wiki.

its not that he owns a house, he owns a REALLY nice house. that he paid for soliciting donations on Twitch. its not like he sweated and toiled to get his money. he's a pampered weenie who likely hasnt done a decent hard day's work in his life from the looks of him. he's also been quoted as saying deliberately edgy nonsense like "America deserved 9/11", which is just deplorable in my eyes. yeah, the USA does some underhanded and horrible shit to other countries, but advocating for the deaths of people who were more than likely not the people who decided the policies that hurt those other countries is disgusting. he also defends Islam, and I am not a fan of any Abrahamic religion so that automatically makes me dislike him more.

im not saying live without luxury, but it damages your brand when you want equality of outcomes (as he does) and then go ahead and lavishly treat yourself. i maintain that at best, he's a Champagne Socialist. or Limousine Liberal, whatever youd like to call it.

unchecked crony capitalism like we have in the USA is very damaging, i agree. i am for workers being treated fairly and civilly. the problem is i believe a lot of people who like those ideas slide further into communist philosophy, which is a failed system. then you have the backlash from other uneducated morons on the opposite end of the spectrum who believe that any sort of communal anything is communism. its a mess!

i like the idea of raising taxes on the rich but in practice this just leads to rich people storing their money and other assets overseas if the tax rate is too high. folks often quote the 90% tax rate on the very rich during the Great Depression without realizing that not many rich people paid that much. if youre going to tax the rich more, much has to be done with determining the proper amount and attending to closing loopholes so they cant weasel out of paying. at the same time, theres a lot of poor people who spend their money very recklessly and then wonder why they cant pay for essentials. just last weekend i met a woman who filed for bankruptcy the week before she bought a 995$/month sports car; this woman has two kids. she had to have her parents finance and co-sign the documents to this car and she is in her mid 30s. i wish schools taught more about practical money skills like creating a budget and tracking spending habits. theres so much information out there on the internet about it too, it is frustrating that people dont bother to learn.

im also in full agreement with you about Russel Brand, dude is annoying as hell. good quote though. this post is seriously off topic for this board but i appreciate the respectful back-and-forth. and congrats on your business success/sale.
