Done. No time, but at least I got something in. First workout in a week. Haven't deadlifted for over 2 weeks. Did some random cardio and rehab/core work for my adductor a few times during the week though. Hopefully I can get the ball rolling again this week.

That's it. I'm in the area in Northern California where all the fires are so the smoke is ridiculous that you can even smell it in the house. I should be grateful I'm home. We thought we may have to evacuate, but my home was just outside the evacuation zone. Garage smelled a lot. I taped off the door leading to the yard and it helped a little, but still smells bad even with my mask on. Thought I just try to do a set and go back in the house, but I could definitely tell this wasn't going to work out so I just stopped. Air quality will be even worse tomorrow I hear and likely for the next couple of days at least. I may try to do something this weekend, but put my N95 mask that I've been fit tested on instead to see if it helps. 2020 doesn't disappoint!

What a year! Stay safe.
I know right? Still haven't worked out, but whatever. Been doing little random stuff inside the house. I don't think the air quality will improve anytime soon until they can have better containment of the fires. Didn't realize how much big breathes I take when working out until I had to think about not breathing in all this smokey air. I should take my air, run and do a single and run back inside the house to breathe again lol.

Done. Air quality improved to moderate last night so got in some benching. Was going to squat and do SOHP as I type this, however the crappy air quality is back again. I guess the wind shifted back towards us, but at least not as ridiculous as it was a few days ago.

That's all I had time for unfortunately. 135 felt heavy on the upperback, but moved fine. Hopefully I can sneak in something later this evening, but if not won't be able to work out until Sunday night at the earliest

My 2 year old didn't nap and was pretty active all day so he ended up going to sleep at 7:30, however he woke up crying. 5 year old was still up. 2 year old didn't want to sleep without big brother with him. By the time I got both of them to bed an hour passed so I just called it for the day and didn't get the volume I wanted. First time pulling in a while anyways. Will start doing sumo again as well. May bench tomorrow morning.

One-Arm Cable Rows
3 sets of 10-12

Done. Bench felt better today. Will try to sumo deadlift next workout and if there's time squat again. Went to walk around San Francisco on Sunday and while I was carrying both kids I decided to step on top a high platform. Adductor felt that real bad. I guess that shit is still around, but I need to start squatting regardless. Right now lack of time is real especially not having the flexibility to work out while at work.

Thursday - 9/10/20 - 10pm

295x5
295x5
295x5
295x5
315x5

That's it. Was suppose to deadlift, but was short on time and bench was set up. Rushed through these pretty quick. Was actually going to do some singles after 295, but had to cut it short so decided to just hit 315 for 5. At least some decent volume. Ashes and smoke everywhere, but garage seems ok as long as I go in and out, where a mask and not stay in there too long

Done. Happy I had time to get some benching in. All moved well, but pinky on rings compared to max width (comp) grip fatigues me much more. Probably why I was always good at high rep benching with comp grip due to the shorter ROM.

Is max width with index fingers on the rings of a power bar?

Done. Bench felt really good tonight. Wish I had more time, but oh well. Very similar weights to last bench with pinky on the rings. I would say everything felt easier tonight even with the 3 sec pauses. Maybe it was the unexpected 8 hours of sleep last night when I passed out with the kids. Hopefully the strength continues to climb. I need to take my bench to the next level already. BW is about 160ish. Even though my BW is about the same I think I loss muscle and gained fat ever since covid and the adductor injury slowed me down. Lack of gym time and even my non-exercise activity are all lower then usual. Can't wait until work gyms and schools open up.

That's all time I had. Kids are driving me bananas. Wife is studying for a board cert and will be traveling for work soon so less free time for me, yaya. As for the pulls didn't feel heavy, but felt crappy overall. Will take my time to build up again and hopefully take it to the next level. Maybe just maybe later tonight I can do some light squats as tolerated and SOHP inbetween sets.
