Jesse Jackson has threatened a lawsuit

parents are saying the title was stripped because people were angry that black people exceeded expectations

there were other comments too.

i saw this on the news. so that is the source.

anyway, this is the problem. too many in the black community refuse to ever take the blame for ANYTHING. it is ALWAYS someone else's fault. i knew the second i heard about this that the racism charges wouldnt be far behind.

most fair minded people realize that there is racism out there. however, if you refuse to ever look in the mirror and take blame, how can racism end? essentially you are claiming that you are perfect and without fault. and as we know, nobody is. so when you screw up as you inevitably will, there will always be issues because you wont take blame.

is that the only problem? no. but its a large part

They (the adults not the kids) got caught cheating. It's a shame that the kids must suffer for what the adults did.
 
It seem like we're jumping the gun on trashing black people this year. It's supposed to wait until the summer. We're hating on Muslims at the moment. Thanks.
 
Statement from the Little League office.

"After an extensive review of the operations of Jackie Robinson West Little League and Illinois District 4, the Little League International Charter/Tournament Committee has determined that the Jackie Robinson West Little League and Illinois District 4 Administrator knowingly violated Little League International Rules and Regulations by placing players on their team who did not qualify to play because they lived outside the team’s boundaries."

"For more than 75 years, Little League has been an organization where fair play is valued over the importance of wins and losses,” said Stephen D. Keener, Little League International President and CEO. “This is a heartbreaking decision. What these players accomplished on the field and the memories and lessons they have learned during the Little League World Series tournament is something the kids can be proud of, but it is unfortunate that the actions of adults have led to this outcome."

"As our Little League operations staff learned of the many issues and actions that occurred over the course of 2014 and prior, as painful as this is, we feel it a necessary decision to maintain the integrity of the Little League program. No team can be allowed to attempt to strengthen its team by putting players on their roster that live outside their boundaries."

The kids they used on the team weren't allowed to play - So technically it was everyone cheating.
 
Many blacks in America now seem to think that every time someone turns against them, it is caused purely by racism. So certain blacks feel justified in cheating, commiting crimes, et cetera, under the auspices that they should never be criticized, as the only criticism can possibly be that they are racists.

Simply put: If the accusations are correct, this team willfully violated the rules of little league by assembling a "dream team" of the star players (all black - hmm! a RACIST dream team, too?!) in the broad area. This is against little league rules, which affirm that only local teams may compete.

exactly. the parents were the asses who cheated in the beginning and now they are the same ones bitching about it. meanwhile the kids are the public face of it and they get drug through the mud.

youth sports, no matter the color of the parents, in this country are becoming ridiculous. they have some desperate need to achieve through their kids that they do stupid stuff like this
 
will obama invite the new champions to the white house?

come on too, kids are not dumb, if it's an all-star team comprised of kids outside their area, im sure they knew about it

the bronx team was stripped of their losses when danny almonte lied about his age. back then no one acted like the rest of the team was treated unfairly

Incidentally, on the Chicago sports talk shows I've listened to, the parents are getting a real pounding.
 
I'm pretty liberal, and a strong supporter of civil rights...but this is stupid. This isn't racism. This is these dummies cheating and getting caught.

This is true. It's a shame, but it's also a shame to these other teams competing that they had to lose to people breaking the rules. No real good answer here, IMO.
 
Surely the parents and maybe even the kids themselves knew they didn't live with-in the district they represented.

They're at fault and are all cheaters. It ain't cheating if you don't get caught, unfortunately they got caught.

Stop crying. You purposely hid information because you knew you were cheating. Why the fuck would you want to cheat other children? Sickening, fuck Jesse Jackson.

the kids knew same as the adults, little league starts at 5-6 years old

these kids have been playing against the kids not in their district for years

Ok. So, i'll stand corrected on that. Doesn't change my point. There are just as many racists LOOKING for incidents to cry 'Race card!' as there are minorities that may actually be pulling it. When you start blaming large masses of an ethnicity for every incident, and trying to muddy the waters between truth and lie, the problem is you, too.
