With the retirement of Leben and his book being advertised. Which fighters bio/auto bio is the first book I need to check out? I know hughes, forrest, bisping and others have books out there but any input on some others and which are worth the time would be much appreciated.

start with this

i read lebens other book
it was entertaining, read frank shamrocks, art davies, sakurabas, bjms, about the only dull one was chuck norris. still interesting but too nice a guy to make it really fun. trashy people have better books

Cool man. I appreciate the input. Frank and saku sound good. I figured there were probably more out there than I knew.

You get older and you'll find out. Funny I just put on rogan and hes got michael imperioli and the other guy from Sopranos on.

The funny part is that I actually read books every single day (mostly online these days). In fact I fall asleep to audio books every night. But, I’d bet 90% of the guys on these boards don’t crack the spine of a single book (including online) even once a month.

Irony...

If you like Mark Hunt his book is interesting. The guy had a majorly fucked early life, you'll appreciate him being as sane as he is when you read it.

All the excerpts I read about his father are horrifying. I know Hunt isn't a Maori, but it had some strong Once Were Warriors vibes.

What the hell... Sherdoggers crack spines on the daily.

Forget books. The Smashing Machine, Mark Kerr docudrama is fire... and probably easy to find. People wonder what fighters at the top of the fight game go through and this shows it... from highs to super lows.
