Linkin Park is reuniting, with a new singer & drummer. Releasing a new album.

She's a scientologist who appeared at Danny Materson's trial to support him.

I'd prefer to keep religion and politics out of music discussions.

Did ya know all the members of Rage Against The Machine are all communists?

So why did it take her this long to put out this statement?

'This long?'

She made the statement less than 24 hours after the announcement she joined the band.

If you want to use this as an excuse to not like her, fine. But at least be transparent about it.

He was sentenced a year ago. She had plenty of time to release this statement, but waited until she got backlash to do it.

I don't even like Linkin Park.

I don't even like Linkin Park.

And she wasn't famous a year ago.
Literally less than 1% of the people that now know who she is knew her 24 hours ago.

I'm no fan of scientology, but give her a break.

I thought the show they did with Emily Armstrong rocked even if I can't really call myself an LP fan.

Kinda sad how there's already 'controversy'. Hi, Xenu.

Interesting choice to replace Chester. I've seen Dead Sara open for The Offspring and a couple other festivals, and vocally/stage presence wise she was "fine" I guess. However, I've never been a LP fan outside of a few songs. As a band LP has undeniably stamped their place in pop culture, but Mike Shinoda has always been a hack. Also the Pantera comparisons of this reunion are lame because their main voice (Phil) is still alive.

Drama will Never leave if she remains in the band.

*Sigh*
Apparently so, since some will never accept her because she's not Chester.

The simple fact is LP had to either find a new singer or never perform live again. Its been 7 years so no one can say they didn't take the necessary time to cope with Chester's passing.

In fact, they may have taken too long... which leads me to question if there's been alot of inner-drama that we don't know about.

Well at least they are trying to move on. No need to stay stagnant and not continue on something that's good.

A girl singer makes interesting for sure.

She sounds great live. I wish her the best.

Our society needs to stop with the cancel culture. Chester's son and other people want to stop her before she even gets started. Let her be.

It does feel cash-grabby kinda like Pantera coming back but I get it. Hell, I'd like to go to one of their shows since I never got to see them and they were one of my favorites as a kid, even if it won't be the same.

Kind of a mixed bag on the new singer but she's different enough that at least she doesn't sound like a weird knockoff Chester
