Weidman has done everything perfect so far, inside and out of the ring IMO. Champions become legends by putting together a bunch of great wins with the belt. The second AS fight was a great opportunity for Weidman to climb the legend-ladder. And he appeared poised to do so until the freak leg snap. Can't wait for him to hopefully rip through the Vitor/Machida/Souza pack.

Also fully excited to hopefully see AS fight again.....

My gay friends said this thread of nuthuggery was over the top. And you should dial it back a little.

Anderson is probably my favorite fighter to watch. Against anyone else, I would cheer for Weidman. Weidman demolishes Vitor, he will be my favorite active fighter.

I like graceful technique. Silva had that in spades. But Weidman seems like a good kid, isn't a jerk, and is well rounded.

Yeah, seems like a great kid, and has looked solid in the octagon. I'm sure he himself feels a bit robbed of the opportunity to showcase more of his skills against AS.

I'm a big fan in the making, despite the several awesome Sherdoggers telling me I'm "gay."

Guys, TS' name is DaisyDuke. This means the TS is either a girl, or a guy with good taste in clothing. So either way, the TS isn't gay.

The group on here calling others "gay," you're high-school kids right?

Weidman carries himself like a true champion. I think he's a good face for the sport

I don't disagree; the torch couldn't have passed onto a better guy; only wish it was passed on in a different manner.

I'm still on a wait and see with Weidman. Great potential but still need to see more.

This is somewhat what I'm saying; he's super polite, and has handled anything put in front of him inside the octagon. And he's from NY, and I'm from NY. So I'm really pulling for him 100%. But how he got his two biggest wins has me wanting/needing to see more. Excited for what's hopefully to come.
