According to Azamat Bostanov from Match TV, Russian lightweight and knockout artist Alexandr Shabliy has a verbal agreement to fight for UFC once he fully recovers from his current hand injury.

Shabliy is 25 years old and 18-3, having finished all his fights except one (against former UFC vet Adriano Martins).

Make him fight conor in his debut.

Loser gets to train in conors garage

Can anybody translate "We aren't here to take part, we are here to take over" in to Russian, please?

Seems far more appropriate for the former Soviet bloc fighters.

Is he wearing a Black Poo Emoji Necklace?

A LW, eh?

Can't wait for him to go 7-0 in the UFC without coming anywhere close to a Top 15 opponent.

UFC gonna make sure people forget about him putting 5 of these 7 fights at the Fight Pass portion of the card, and ofc, in European random shows

Not a bad signing, but AAA, Bagov, and Vartanyan are all more deserving.

Has he fought anybody worth of note or the regular diet of can crushing on the Russian circuit?

He's coming off a win over Adriano Martins who was in the UFC, and lost a split decision to Vartanyan, who is one of the best lightweights in the world (and got robbed against AAA when he last fought for the ACB title.)

let's see. a lot of these guys have these great records and don't do much in the ufc

The shitposting itch got the best of me.

I predict this guy will lose to the first top 15er he fights.
Considering your prediction is based on absolute non sense, it's more of a guess, and it's really worthless. Thank you anyway for your contribution.

I'd do a bet with you, but it wouldn't be fun for me to win.

It's not about his record though, those who have seen him fight know how legit he's, his striking is as crisp as it gets. Boxing on point, killer knees, fast, powerful.
