Life Expectancy in the US per state - I think they got Florida Wrong

California and Hawaii checking in. RIP Florida
 
I bet it is positive skewed. Meaning the average is far above the median, so thus over 50% people die well below the average.
 
Not American so don’t recognizes what states are what, but going to guess that 46 is…Colombia…
 
Was pretty easy to look up.

80.2 years
As of 2019, the most recent available year of state-level data, life expectancy at birth in Florida is 80.2 years, the 10th highest among states and higher than the comparable national average of 79.2 years.

There would need to be some very old people if that was true. It skewed the other way.
 
You start to slow down big time in your 40's so that seems about right for Florida, you can only out run all those alligators and snakes being thrown at you by your drunk loved ones for so long
