Well it’s official. You have a 41 year old vs a #7 fighting for the belt. Not to disrespect Glover but let’s be honest here, tonight how’s that the Lhw division is the weakest male division in the ufc. There’s nothing exciting about this division. Next we will most likely see Jan who’s rather mediocre vs a poor man’s wanna be Jon jones. Jiri is somewhat exciting but he’s going to be out for a while. You have Spann who’s a mini ngannou who will mostly likely be exposed by boring wrestlers. There’s nothing exciting about this division

It was never a great division. Picoman was "dominant" because he had a massive size advantage and great coaching from Jackson but as soon as the size advantage diminished, he looked less and less dominant to where they had to hand him divisions. UFC's LHW division was always crap.

People still sleep on Hill. Which is funny.

He hasn't even hit anywhere near his ceiling. He's been training for 5 years.

This was a very impressive fight and I would put him up in terms of skillset and ceiling against a lot of LHW's all time.

Jiri, Hill, Magomed are the 3 best LHWs in the world. Who beats them right now??

Did you know a few weeks before he beat Shogun Jones wasn't ranked in the top 10?

Not that this is the same but someones rank before they win the title isn't everything.

LHW doesn't suck legacy fighters from when the division did suck are at the top because they compiled win streaks back then. LHWs in both the UFC and Bellators got a lot of exciting fighters.

Hill has been promising for awhile. Save that horrible Craig loss he looks like he could be the one.

Light-heavyweight is not as bad as the heavyweight division. In fact its been one of the most exiting in terms of overall matches the last 2 years.

Good for Hill.

But this is bad for the UFC. Everyone thinks the UFC has the best. But I can now think of several divisions that do not have a best champs in the world.

Imagine winning the belt off a washed up 45yr old. Hill didn’t even deserve a title shot
