News LFA 78-79 postponed, during search for new broadcast partner

LFA 77 will go on as scheduled Friday night, and the heavyweight title will be on the line.

But the promotion’s next two scheduled events, LFA 78 and LFA 79, are on hold until a new broadcast partner is secured.

Earlier this month, Anthem Sports & Entertainment acquired a majority stake in AXS TV, which had been LFA’s longtime TV home. After the deal, LFA officials were informed that AXS TV was ditching its broadcast deal with the promotion.

Why don't they get on Fight Pass, or just show them on Youtube?

Is there going to be any way to watch LFA 77?

God damn AXS TV fucking sucks.

I'm surprised UFC didn't sign them to put the cards on Fight Pass.

Maybe they are asking too much for the rights?

Seek out a deal with YouTube television. More chance of building a much larger viewership base. More chance of bigger exposure. But I imagine LFA will go the DAZN route

There are a million places that they could go to, even if short term. Option A must be a long term partner by the looks of it.

Hoping they don’t go with FITE ppv.

DAZN or Fight Pass, please. Or Youtube. LFA could be the #2 most interesting promotion in the US if they play their cards right. Definitely light years beyond the rest of the regionals.

Fight Pass would work out real nice with LFA since they could benefit with the exposure
do to the fact that any MMA promotion that features on there goes from small fish to really
big fish.

Never thought of that! What about Netflix? Cheap easy content for them......great ideas

They have got a ways to go before they are anywhere near Bellator level.

Is LFA coming back or should I just give up hope? I figured Somebody would have said something by now.

They have apparently secured a broadcasting partner. All the legal stuff and scheduling need to be done before it is announced though.

I can't wait to hear which it is. Hopefully it's on one of the streaming services I subscribe to now because I cut the cord finally and don't have cable or satellite tv any more.
