But he was loosing that fight and had a comeback so I think that might make sense but Gane/Rosenstruik winner also makes a lot of sense too.

Maybe Volkov later down the road why not. But let us have a fresh matchup now
If Lewis has to rematch all the fighters he was losing to until he came back with a finish, that's a long list.
Winner of Gane/Rozenstruik makes more sense and Volkov can have the loser of Stipe/Ngannou.

Tbh Lewis getting a title shot makes sense, but seeing as it might be Jones up next for the shot, Lewis vs one of Gane or Jairzinho makes sense.

Volkov only lost to the man Lewis just murdered in the cage 2 fights ago and BB also has a win over Volkov
I'd rather see Lewis vs. Overeem just because Overeem is a bigger name in the sport and there's already some beef between the two. My dream would be Lewis vs Stipe but that is unlikely to happen for over a year, if ever.

If we didn't have to do the ridiculous Stipe-DC triology, there wouldn't be such a logjam.
Stipe has to fight Ngannou. Winner will likely fight Jones.
Volkov is in a nice position, but Blaydez-Lewis both had wins over him, so they had to be higher. Lewis needs a dance partner, the only person left is winner of Gane-Rozen.
The only person that leaves for Volkov is Blaydes or Stipe-Francis loser, and I think the latter makes more sense.
