Jesus, that was some serious ko by the black beast ! But the chosen one of the HW division already been chosen, it show how much ciryl gane is a special beast.
 
I think it just shows that Daukas is a mid-tier heavyweight (with a vintage Josh Barnett belly jiggle) who had no gameplan and was a lamb being led to slaughter.

Gane is good, but I have no idea how Daukas was a favorite.
 
Ngannou is just like Lewis with a little more reach, Gane is gonna style on him like he did on Lewis, this man is gonna retire undefeated and without having taken any damage, that's just how good he is.
 
Ngannou is always one punch away for a ko so your logic sucks big
 
Daukaus really isn't that good, to be honest. He is a not so sloppy HW that can KO some HWs, nothing new here.
 
Yes and no. Lewis fought the way he did against both of them because he respected Gane but didn’t respect Daukaus. That’s the difference.

I’m not saying Lewis would’ve won, but he could’ve KO’d Gane if he fought as aggressively as he did here.

I have no doubt that he and his team had a game plan and it just went out the window once he got in the octagon and saw the Black Beast. He froze in the cage completely.

He just threw a couple of leg kicks and was basically prancing around waiting to get knocked out,

Ngannou is basically a faster Lewis and more cut up, Derrick is what 285lbs or 290lbs? Ngannou 263lb to 270lbs with it seems quicker hands but he isnt technically that great. Perhaps Ngannou has better takedown defense as well

Gane will reign for a while I think assuming he can beat grapplers
