Too late because he lost to a young elite fighter? Nah, we can't say it's too late until we see how he fairs against a Top 5 BW opponent. I feel if the weight cut isn't too hard he might do some serious damage in that division.

Nah. Tj is skill for skill above Frankie in terms of striking and grappling imho. But he would be competitive I'm sure, but he's done at title runs. I'd say he loses to Jimmie and Cody too. Probably to moraes also lol. Him nd Cruz would be fun tho

If he hadn’t been so stubborn above moving down from LW, to begin with. It’s impossible to say what might have been. But, it’s pretty hard to say he should have gone down sooner considering he was the LW champion.

But, if he can make that cut. It certainly could be a real good idea. Give him an instant TS against that Coward holding the belt. He could use a dose of his own medicine.

I’m really not sure if Edgar would even attempt that cut. It’s his call, though. And, an option that should be considered.

TJ is on a different level.
Compared to who, he lost to Dominic (IMO TJ edged out a close decision) and Cody was he'll on wheels for him untill TJ found his groove and timing, so he clearly isn't on another level

He blocked basically everything Cody threw other than the counter overhand in the last 10 seconds, which he could've easily avoided by not engaging at all.

Basicaly blocked everything untill he got rocked and nearly finished, Cody gave him serious problems hence him nearly being finished. Cody is a tough fight for him

It was 1 big punch that caused that, not like Cody was piecing him up, not even close.

Like I said, if TJ had just waited for the round to end instead of trying to steal it with a 1-2, Cody would have never even dropped him.

Cody dropped him because of only 1 mistake. That was the only significant that Cody did in that entire fight.

Lol, Frankie is the new Urijah Faber. He's gonna lose every title fight he gets from here til the day he retires. I love the guy, but TJ Killa would spank his ass handily.

Nah, Frankie is up there in mileage, more weight cuts will absolutely drain him, it's not good for an aging fighter. From his fight with Ortega, Frankie was going through the motion and didn't look great.

Exactly... Stupid ass casual fans that know fuck all about fighting keep parroting everything they hear from other stupid ass casual fans. Anyone with two good eyes can see that nobody was dominating that fight up until TJ opened up to attempt to steal the round and got clipped. And even when he went down, he was slipping the followup shots. You wanna see someone really fucking hurt and on wobbly legs and come back form the dead, watch Edgar vs. Maynard 2 and 3.

TJ was never out of that fight and people can only speculate what would have happened if there were a handful of more seconds in the round. But in reality, there's only 5 minutes in each round, not 5:30. Cody failed to capitalize on the opportunity before the round ended..... TJ didn't. As soon as TJ dropped Cody it was over within seconds. That's the difference. And while Cody is making all these excuses for his loss and acting like he just beat himself, TJ is steadily evolving and waiting to do it again.
