Good fight. DeMarco looked lost when Linares was boxing him up and Linares looked helpless when DeMarco roughed him up.

To be fair with Linares he got headbutted to a stoppage, that being said you’re supposed to be prepared to illegal tricks when you box guys like DeMarco.

Just rewatched Ward vs. Froch, as someone uploaded it in great quality on YT:

... As I see it, Ward had Froch physically and mentally finished by round 7.
Froch resorted to dirty tactics after round 8, and the reactions from David Ortiz and Eddie Hearn were priceless... Eddie seemed relieved that no point deduction followed, lol.

Have heard Froch speak candidly about the Ward fight and he readily admitted he just had no answer for him.

What a phenomenal boxer this man was at his prime.

Such a shame we did not see _THAT_ fight with both of them at their peaks

I watched some of old Botha fights this weekend... I found it interesting how Briggs had that much more trouble with him than a shadow of a prime Mike Tyson, plus two years off after his supension..... I know there's merely 5 years of age difference between Briggs and Tyson, but still... Was Tyson just better schooled as a boxer or did he hit that much harder than Briggs? I don't know.

... listen carefully about 4 min. into the video, maybe a name dropped by the ring announcer rings a bell.

That is so weird that you just posted Botha vs Briggs. I just watched that fight last weekend.

It's not that weird if you watched it on YT... Because it was shown in mine and a lot of other peoples recommendations as it was uploaded just a few months ago.
