The subreddit "Let's Not Meet" is comprised of true stories from users about creepy/dangerous encounters they've had that usually comes with a stalking element. The vast majority of these stories are from women and/or recollections from when the user was younger (usually as a teen or child). Man, before reading these, I knew women had to deal with a lot of annoyances like cat-calling and pick-up attempts but obviously, they can brush off the majority of those without too much trouble. Reading these stories shows me how brazen some fuckers are. Of course, a lot of the stories are just some people overreacting when some guy is just trying to say "hello" but if you read the top stories on this subreddit, you really read some serious shit. I have to say I'm glad I'm a guy and don't have to deal with this stuff like people blatantly following you home or straight up chasing you. Albeit, a lot of the users posting this stories show a lot of naivete in these situations, but that can be expected with teenagers. I suggest some of you guys read some of these stories for some deeper insight. I don't know if some of you who are fathers of girls would want to read some of these as it may cause you to escort your daughter everywhere with a shotgun. Reddit - Let's Not Meet

yes - the random inserted details to make it sound true are hallmarks of a fake story. It's hard to pinpoint, but all of us that have been on the internet for so long get the same types of vibes from these fake stories. Like the "645 am class." The "ipod is broken so I kept my headphones in but still played a crossword game." etc etc the overexplaining and putting in details - I dunno how to put it, but there's just something off about it that let's you know it's fake.

Spanish story is fake. Why didn't she just tell the bus driver. It would've been better if it was a train instead of a bus.

Agreed. It's no different than someone showing up here and creating some elaborate bullshit story to get a thread going.
Maybe she meant she had to be up by 645 and back in the day people had ipods and a cell phone...so its not out of the realm of possibilities that she could of had her ipod die but still used her phone to play a game. It's not over the top - story seem plausible
