More talented, can hit Nate whenever and wherever he wants, and is just a better striker in that octagon. He showed that. If he fights all five rounds like the first, he wins.

Yet can't seem to overcome the gigantic 10 pound weight difference.

When did he show that? While Nate was taking a round off?

Conor can mix up strikes better, he has to change things up though.

Someone just post the gif so this thread can be put to rest.

if claudia gadelha fights all five rounds like the first, she beats joanna. unfortunately for claudia and conor, they tend to get too tired too soon so you can't speculate on him fighting 5 rounds like the 1st

Well if he was he would have adjusted and found a way to win.

Instead, he throw useless shots from way outside, got hit hard a couple of times, turned panic wrestler, rolled over and gave up his neck because he wanted a way out.

He fought the first round at a completely unsustainable pace. That's why he gassed.

Its literally impossible to do what he did in the first for 5.

Not for Conor, for anyone.

So there goes that fuckin' theory.

Only on Sherdog can someone watch a fighter lose decisively and then turn around and say that the fighter is still better than the person that beat them.

Conor's more dynamic, but Diaz has better ground game, better chin, better cardio, and arguably better boxing.

He can't go more than 8 minutes without gassing.

Is that why he missed most of his strikes in the first round, and only landed 37% of his significant strikes, none of which phased Nate at all?

If he fights all five rounds like the first, he wins.

Not only does he not have the gas tank to do that, but Nate eventually caught on to the uppercut he was throwing and cracked the fuck out of him with the 1-2 that led to his demise

0/10

I couldn't disagree more with TS. Diaz is better all around. But I also don't believe one loss means the better guy won. The fight game is nuts. Many of these fights are a coin flip.

Nate is very durable
and the bigger dude

Boxing: even
Kicks: Conor, barely. Can use stabbing (front or side) low and mid kicks for range but has to get lucky with a low percentage spinning kick to t/ko.
Ground game: Nate Nate Nate
Clinch: Nate
Scrambles/transitions: Nate. Conor can be very dangerous if he lands a punch in a scramble when Nate is out of position. Anybody can get KOd out of position by a guy with Conor's power. Nate mostly owns this by being longer and more skilled at this range, tho.
Cardio: Nate
Power: Conor, barely
TDs: Conor showed good skills against Max but he should not practice on Nate. Conor technically but practically should NOT.
Chin: Nate, barely. Conor's got a chin but Nate's is legendary.

Nate wins this 7/10.

I don't really care who wins. Just want to see a good fight! I was really dogging on this rematch, initially but it's grown on me like a fungus. Kinda halfway excited to see it now. Just kinda halfway, though ;)

Connor has a variety of attacks but unfortunately has best weapons, his hands failed to produce a KO.

He got into a Dog fight with Nate and got ate up.

Nate's Clinch was superior and he hurt Connor there and also rocked him on his feet in Connors boxing world.

You must be new to life if you think Talent is all you need bwahahahaha.

Nate is a hardened veteran with great standup and elite ground skills.
